🦁 Winter Returnables and June 6 Bottle Drive Drop-Offs Support Community Giving 🦁

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the Baxter Ward Lions Club has raised $14,000 year-to-date through the return of bottles, cans, and LCBO containers dropped off at Jimmy’s (1241 Honey Harbour Road, Port Severn).

Over the winter months, along with the returnables collected during the June 6 Bottle Drive, a significant volume of containers accumulated at the collection site. On June 17, eleven dedicated volunteers (Lions Glen, Monika, John, Karen and Jimmy and special thanks to Lynette Dunne, Tracey Drury and Bill Perry) spent three hours sorting the donations. Cans were separated into Gaylords, while beer bottles were boxed, palletized, and securely plastic-wrapped in preparation for pickup.

The Beer Store collected the sorted returnables from Jimmy’s (1241 Honey Harbour Road, Port Severn) on June 17, 2026, completing another successful recycling and fundraising effort.

Funds raised through this ongoing initiative help the Baxter Ward Lions Club support local charities and community projects throughout the area.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to drop off their bottles and cans at Jimmy’s (1241 Honey Harbour Road, Port Severn), and to those who participated in the June 6 Bottle Drive. Your support makes a real difference in our community.

Remember, bottles, cans, and LCBO containers can be dropped off at Jimmy’s (1241 Honey Harbour Road, Port Severn) year round in support of the Baxter Ward Lions Club. 🦁♻️🍁
